FOR FRANCHISE NETWORKS IN AUSTRALIA

Helping franchises stay on top of payroll compliance.

From 1 July 2026, super is paid every single payday. Not quarterly. If your network isn't running on an award-aware payroll platform before then, head office carries the risk. PaySauce is built for exactly this.

Payday Super starts 1 July

Is your network ready?

From 1 July 2026, super must be paid on every single pay run. Not quarterly. Every time wages go out, super must reach employees' funds within 7 business days.

For franchise networks, that's not one process to fix. That's every location, every manager, every pay run, all needing to get it right at the same time.

And there's one more thing. The ATO's free clearing house, the SBSCH, closes permanently on 1 July. If any of your stores are using it, they need a replacement running before that date.

PaySauce handles Payday Super automatically. Built in. No separate clearing house. No extra integration. Every store compliant from day one.

This isn't a software problem. It's a compliance gap.

Your stores are probably using payroll software. That's not the issue.

The issue is what happens before the pay run. Award interpretation, penalty rates, casual classifications, junior rate changes on birthdays. Most store managers are doing this from memory, a spreadsheet, or not at all.

By using Paysauce you will get:

  • Consistent award interpretation across every store.

  • An auditable payroll trail from day one.

  • The strongest legal defence under s558B.

  • Payday Super handled automatically, every pay run.

Three steps. Network sorted.

Getting your stores onto PaySauce is straightforward. You make one introduction. We handle everything else.

  1. You introduce us to a shortlist of stores. That's all we need from you.
  2. We onboard and run parallel pay cycles. Every discrepancy documented.
  3. By day 60, you have your own compliance audit. Built on your stores, your data.

Managing store payroll the old way vs the PaySauce way.

The Old Way
  • Store managers interpreting awards from memory
  • Junior rate changes missed when employees have birthdays
  • Super paid quarterly, manually, easy to miss
  • No auditable trail if the FWO comes knocking
  • Head office with no visibility across the network
The PaySauce Way
  • Award rates interpreted automatically, every pay run
  • Rate changes applied on the day, no one has to remember
  • Payday Super handled simultaneously with every wage run
  • Full compliance trail created automatically
  • Head office visibility across every store

Common questions

Yes. Each store is set up as its own entity. We handle the onboarding for each one so your team doesn't have to.

Yes. Payday Super is handled automatically from 1 July 2026. No manual super step, no batch delay, no compliance gap.
Under the Bakers Delight ruling, franchisors are now directly responsible for franchisee underpayments if they knew, or should have known, about the breach. The FWO no longer needs to prove non-compliance — you need to prove compliance. PaySauce gives you the documentation to do that.
